'Sadece Ingilizce' means 'English only'

OUTsider:
I don't know it's history very well. It was ChatHasan's channel (if you know him) But now it is not.

In my opinion, Turkish offical helpers are fed up with Turkish help channel(s), because of that nobody want to start a new help channel project.
(this is just my idea)

Question & Answer

Is there any Turkish channel helping users actively ?
- No.
Why ?
- We, Turks, are impatient people, we don't really like dedicating our time on something that will not bring us a result so fast.
Is it same for every Turkish?
- No, there are some Turkish communities on undernet where contains really valuable group of people however they may or may not be on undernet actively.
Is there any plan of starting a help community for Turkish IRC Users on Undernet?
- Not that I know of.
What's the best way of getting help in Turkish?
- There are group of people that I can recommend you either in cservice or some Unofficial channels, OzzY is one of them however I doubt he is interested in helping on issues such as unregistered channels, or cservice problems.
Some people are suggesting Turkish forums on undernet as a way of getting help, is that correct?
- Might be a way of getting help.
Do you help Turkish users if they need help?
- Depends on the issue, I have got people messaging me with a lot of treats such as if you don't do that, I will find you and kick your a.. etc, I NEVER help those kind of people, those who are nice and innocent will never be turned down if they are asking for my help.
How many Turkish IRC ops undernet have?
- one and only.
But I have heard there was another ircops like evilgreen and tazmania, what happend to them?
- Those people were recently selected by me in order to assist Turkish user community however their real life didn't let them to be on IRC for a long time for that reason they have resigned from their responsabilities.
How many official cservice representative/administrator are from Turkey?
- one and only.
How many user-com / coder-com members are from Turkey on undernet?
- As far as I know which I might be wrong there is nobody official on coder-com from Turkey however there might be couple representatives on user-com, last I knew Ozzy was one of them.
Would you as cavalry support new communities which are specificly interested in helping Turkish Users?
- Yes, If I believe they are just doing that for help, anytime I will support.

Turkish community on undernet is one of the biggest, and I believe it's the most active community, After especially dalnet's big split that we have seen on 2003, The biggest Turkish community on IRC networks became Undernet. There are many small networks (1000 or less users) however those are pretty much for local ISP and their users, I assume there are more than 100.000 people into IRC world from Turkey, and which I believe that %10-12 of those people are on Undernet right now.

It's sad not to have a stable place to handle their problems and share with them.

I hope some group of Turkish Braveheart would setup a community and request our help.

But I should not pass without mentioning on this point.

Undernet is not as funny as it was before, like in 2000-2002 periods.

I have felt like writing this question and answers in order to give you my personal opinion on the Turkish Community and It's problems subject.

Thank you for reading.

It looks good (even if I can't understand a thing). It could be recommended temporarily untill someone will (if ever) try to create a stable channel for .tr users.

We have created new help channel for Turkish users.
You can redirect Turk users to #turQuaz for help in their native language.

Quote from irc-junkie.org;
"After many opers suggesting me, I decided to start a Help channel for Turkish speaking users in order to help them on many purposes such as channel take overs, or cleaning their infected computers, or help them to download an anti-virus, for just that purpose we are going to start a public ftp where they can download most updates and free av scanners", IRC operator Cavalry said to IRC-Junkie.
Also you can read the news about turQuaz on Undernet.org;
