Documents - www.user-com.undernet.org/documents

Post by Cynthia »

The Documents project is to keep educational and historical documents regarding the Undernet. The documents are constantly being updated and new documents are being added.

Any idea's or suggestion's you have are welcome :D

I'm wondering if someone would consider the idea of posting some information about the user-modes in the http://www.user-com.undernet.org/documents/ ; The Modes +x and +r are quite new to some users and I think some information about that would be appreciated by them.

The link you gave has nothing to do with Undernet User Committee.
As far as I know #help is an independent project. That URL belongs to them.
Please join #help or mail to help@undernet.org about matters related to this project.

P.S. as this was your first post I wish you welcome and enjoy our forum :D

Hey :o)
As the project manager of the Documents Project. I invite everyone, users, user-com/undernet and CService members to look at us and tell us where we are lacking. I also challenge ALL the above to join documents and help us and make this project the place to be!

I wish this to be the Project that sparks knowledge in people and makes them want to jump in and show us if, where and when we need to make changes to make Undernet a better place, that is more informed and helps the users...especially the NEW users feel that we have informed them better than anyone else!

The only way we can do that if is we have involvement from EVERYONE. From the highest CService officials down to me...hehe...the lowly!

So my challenge is this (stated from the challenge above!)

What could YOU do to help us? from everywher to the most seasoned user to the most newest user...to make documents better?

Let us know --> documents@undernet.org

Dear Banjo,

I strongly believe that in as far as documents are concerned, there is room for improvement in the sense of making them available into as many as possible languages (this impacts negatively though in the educational side that will not allow "exotic"users to exercise their English).
Since 97 I have been monitoring the changes and transformations of the network and I must admit I am amazed with the total frenzy of new users that are doing their best to challenge the "oldies"(flood, multiple usernames, etc.), admins and the rest.
I think we should encourage users to read more of the documents and go les often to help channels just for the sake of "showing off". I only help (if and when the case) with "tricks" not general stuff that can be read anywhere.

The Documents Project is working on updating the old documents, creating new documents and translating all documents to several languages. Please watch for the changes coming in the future.

If someone have any suggestion/comments/idea about the doccument project feel free to state your opinion in the forum .. down here :)

Someone will reply as fast as we can :)
Go to hell with your questions, my time is done here. It was fun, but this network is sooooo corrupted by morons, its not worth it.
