A simple thing I have noticed and thought I´d bring up:
For the webchat´s drop down channel join menu, how about a user-input channel space? I would like to go straight to the channel without having to first join #newbies, for example.
I also support an option for Html chat as well as the java option.
webchat - simple note
I am getting "Startup error : java.lang.Error: Unknown configuration property UseInfo" error.
I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106 on Windows 98SE
It says java.lang.Error, if it means 'language', my windows and explorer are Turkish.

For the record, I am using Mozilla's FireFox 0.8 and have no probs at all with the webchat; however I totally agree with the first post for a user-input channel space in the drop-down menu. Only a few 'choice' channels are listed there and it is annoying being in one of those, just to see someone join .. then quit after joining the channel they really wanted to be in to begin with!

at the menu u can choose now the ANOTHER CANAL option and u can put the name of ur favorite channel , after you are connected you will be present only at the channel that you have put .

zfr, are you using Turkish browser?
I think you're using Turkish Internet Explorer and because of that you get that error.
I told that in my first post;
"It says java.lang.Error, if it means 'language', my windows and explorer are Turkish."
But fastkiller don't accept that new webchat is not working on Turkish browsers.
What was the problem about old webchat?

I regard Webchat has a temporary fix, Used by newbies, to get used to the Irc system. It is discouraged by many senoir users of Irc, because of it's instability, and it's incompatibilities. One more example would be the fact that i'm using Opera browser , and I didn't receive that security message, it didn't even load the script.... Java script is enabled.
Furthermore, why use webchat when there is such a simple solution as Mirc?
Anyway I loaded Webchat in IE(just for testing purposes) and it worked fine, btw congrats for the colours and the theme... it looks nice.
