My project on Undernet

Hi, I have a project in construction and I want to know what do you think

about this. My project is when someone send an application to have X we

give to him 2 bots for protecting there channels and there ops. We give it

to him *ONLY* if the channels are in Pending situation. I know we have

already some help channels like that but.. I just want to know if my

project is good or not because I want to be *big* and to open my project

for all my life...

.. dunno maybe giving a bot or two for protection when someone posts application to register a channel will be ok and the channels with reops will not be needed anymore but remember how many applications are posted every day, dont you think how many 'bots' they'll need to privide.. this is something like another services... I dont think that could happen..or who knows

So, Undernet & Cservice will not support bot lending channels, and Cservice will not register bot lending channels.

There are many bot lending channels tho.

Mitko... it is not a botlending channels... we don't give bots to channels who have X... we help people who wants to get X...after that we take out the bots

Well that`s exactly what bot lending channels say They 'lend' bots to people, and after those bots are opped, they simply do a takeover, and have full controle of the chann. NEVER trust such channels, for your own channel`s sake

Well, Wolfyx.. Thats why I want to be recognized by some help channnels. We are already recognized by #Aide (french help channel) and you know me... I help in cservice and in other channels.. I am not someone who will do a takeover... I talk about my project.. not all channels like that.

You help in Cservice? Dang....i can`t seem to believe that, because you don`t know Cservice and Undernt AUP....that clearly state that channels that have the soul purpose of providing bots for channels regsitered or not are not allowed on undernet....

ecube, if you do help in cservice, you might wanna lose the thought of persuading us to recommend such channs. Undernet is against such channels even if they are managed by 'good' ppl

Well it's ok Wolfyx... and Sirandrew please don't tell me that.. I think 1 or 2 bots will not be illegal... As I think many channels have 1 or 2...

eCube read Undernet`s and Cservice`s AUP you will see they clearly state that channel bots are not recommanded if not even are not allowed on undernet.

Sure every channel has one two protection bots besides X that perform the tasks X is unable to do, and Undernet and Cservice pass that and allow it because respectful channels have the bots on their own resources.

Botlending however is strictly forbidden, some great botleding channels some supported by Ircops and at some point by Cs admins are not purged or have change their purpose.

For the more this matter has been discussed with xplora in 2-3 topics which led to purging some more botlending channels. IF you haven`t read them i`ll tell you again Cservice`s point of view about Botlending channels:
