Post by justme »

Heya! I have 2 mobile phones: Nokia 6260 and Nokia 7610, and in my menu list there is a command for CHAT. I would really like to enter Undernet server from my mobile phones, so please tell me the settings that I should use in order to do that. I have an Internte connection by GPRS. Please helpppp! THanks a lot.

Well i don`t know. If you can post some of the requirements maybe we can help.

Also you can find more help on the nokia website.

Contact Nokia and suggest the development of an IRC client for their phones, available for download from their website or defaulted in their new phones. That could be done.

The reason it asks you for "IRC specific" information is because most of the chat alternatives use nicknames and other such information.

Certain newer models of nokia have support for Java, so you might want to try to find some small client written in java.
Don't bother reading, I'm just the lame botlender, right ?

A bunch of people I work with use Linkinus for IRC on iOS devices. It does cost about $2 USD though (chump change). Check it out and read about it on the app store if you want!
