Normally I can find an undernet server (almost always a EU one) to connect to. I am in Washington, US. Earlier today I was connected fine, then had a [10053] Software caused connection abort.
Since then I cannot find any server to connect to. Tampa.FL.US.Undernet.org always gives me a (Sorry, your connection class is full - try again later or try another server)
Right now the only one even trying to connect is Diemen.NL.EU.Undernet.Org but it never connects all the way. It connects but then I just get a [10053] Software caused connection abort.
Having a lot of trouble connecting
Garflac, I got booted by chicago earlier today with the same error, and it took me almost 2 hours to connect again. Finally, got on Tampa, after connection class full errors over and over.Garflac wrote:Normally I can find an undernet server (almost always a EU one) to connect to. I am in Washington, US. I tried every server that I know, diemen, chicago, tampa, budapest (has not allowed me on for about a week) hamburg, lidingo, montreal, new york, tampa and vancouver servers. Two hours of constantly trying. Most errors were connection time outs.
Been on Undernet every day since 1996 and never had this kind of problem connecting.
Right now on Tampa:
There are 3198 users and 34017 invisible on 18 servers
19 operator(s) online
473 unknown connection(s)
13662 channels formed
I have 14086 clients and 1 servers
I don't know what the problem is with the servers, but there definitely is one.
Keep trying Diemen and Tampa is my suggestion.
Good Luck!

Garflac:
Today it looks like tampa, budapest and possibly hamburg are the only servers accepting users.
The others are timing out on me today.
Keep trying!

No "official" is going to announce that Undernet servers are being attacked.Wondering wrote:Looks like I wasn't all wrong with my other thread: Is Undernet dead? ( http://forum.undernet.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12177 )
There's not even an accouncement on the website about the connection issues.
They have to keep the mystery alive and they don't want to let the attackers know they are being successful. (As if they wouldn't know.)
Been this way forever. Not a new thing.
I prefer more transparency and honesty, myself.
But no one asked me.
