How I hate repeating myself ... Please read my original post and you'll find the...

dragonelle, no need to be insulting or treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm affraid you didn't understand my post. When I said identify the "mastermind" I meant just that. Cut the head and the body will fall as well. Now as far as the compromised machines go, so far 70% o...

Most times it is required to have a botnet, otherwise how are you going to carry off your c&c's? Emphasis on most times , I know there are exceptions. you people should try to get the actual Ip of all the people who carry out these attacks and report it to their ISP than thinking about a g-line....

I'm curious myself what measure will be taken because I'm sure there's something they can do. So far, no change.
As far as being in top ten ... I'm more for quality than quantity.
You know, I wonder if a nickserv would take care of many of these back and forth fights.

Undernet / CService - a dog without teeth?

Recent experience would say yes, and I have a fresh example. Some random guy with a botnet decided he liked the same nickname I've been using for a while and thought he'd just grab it because hey! He has a botnet, right? Sense of entitlement, you know how that goes. My penis bigger than yours, step ...

As far as usage, I'm pretty much on the same page with you, SeeknDestroy and recently I've found that the Undernet Commitee and CService tend to be dogs with no teeth. Having said that , this is a free service, manpower is limited so I do give them the benefit of the doubt and cut the due slack, how...

Suppress Ping Pong event from behind a bouncer

Is there a way to do this? I'm using psyBNC and although my mIRC client is configured to suppress Ping/Pong events, I still see them in the Status window.

The script that I have now works great, sdmynick it's called. It's on a 6 second timer which I think is pretty reasonable.

[Help] "timer" abuse?

First post/topic Hope I got the right section. Is there such a thing as abuse using timers? I ask this because I have just installed a script which upon reconnecting from a disconnect, it tries to retrieve the old nickname. As you know, nicknames persist as "ghosts" for a while, and such a...
