The person who is in charge of object@undernet.org has some problems in real life which he must attend to. CService officials had a bit of a trouble finding someone to take care of his job while he is away. The person was named last night. That's probably the reason why you did not receive a reply....

Re: Do huh?
....Spiderman book--"With great power comes great responsibility". That's so true. Indeed. As everyone's been saying previously, a channel is like a house and if you are the guest, you have to abide the rules of the host/hostess. Ops can do whatever they want to do in their channel, if you don't li...

Re: Respond to email
As everyone can see, Undernet is growing day by day but somehow the respond to email from object@undernet.org is getting worst. Recently, a lot of users complained at #CService where their username was suspended and directed to email for suspension reason at object@undernet.org. It may took more th...

I share the same agony with you guys/gals having their nicks used as bot nicks but what can we do about it, basically nothing. I think its not the end of the world if you're unable to use your usual or favorite nick. If these 'friends' or 'irc-friends' are really your Friends, they should know where...

Re: #Cservie is a no go
Did you know undernet is now well known on other net works for being a NON userfriendly network ??? Are you sure about this? Don't get me wrong but as far as I know, Undernet Admins never said that Undernet is a 'user-friendly network', it was solely Cservice who (I believed and think) claimed that...

Attn: Mr. rangoonmcg There's absolutely nothing wrong with sitting around in a channel for hours. As someone suggested earlier on, try to check their idle time. Maybe this person whom you tried messaging is in a different timezone as you are. Maybe by the time you messaged him/her, he/she's sleeping...

If banning isn't sufficient, report the user (as outlined above) to an IRCop, they may be able to do something about the problem. IRCops can see past the "mask" that mode +x puts up over an IP address. Provide logs. 1) Find yourself an IRCop who actually gives a damn. 2) Logs can be and often are f...

Why can't users just use e-mail to leave messages to their friends who aren't online at the time that they are? Or use ICQ, YM, MSN, Or if it is really that urgent, why not give them a call or send them SMS. The net has got a bunch of things around that you can use to contact someone. Undernet is no...

Hi. I'm not actually impressed with this new feature of hiding hosts, its just giving users the license of abusing someone because they think are anonymous. I can see its got its advantage too, that and only if you are the victim. But on the otherhand, it is not helpful because it'll be hard enough ...
