Easy: it's called /msg x info <username> Granted, if the user set his info to invisible, it won't work, but then again... that's the point. Same as setting his usermode to +i.
If IRCU starts to handle all the X features, there will be no need to have X at all...

Anic, think about it: what would be the point in hiding your own information from yourself? Once X says your are logged in, the usermode +x will take affect. You can actually set the mode prior to logging into X, it doesn't matter. When the usermode switches, you will see a message in your status wi...

I have some suggestions for undernet to: -Channelmode +u: No costum quit/part messages anymore. Define "custom." Each IRC client out there (java/webchat included) each has its own "standard" quit message. When a user changes the topic, ircu sets the name of the user who changed it. Well what I like...

There's absolutely no point adding a SEEN to X when X could give a crap about nicks. It's database is big enough already, now it's supposed to keep track of nicks too? No... The DALnet crowd needs to get a grip on the fact that users of Undernet (and other networks that do not register nicks) keep t...

As for documentation and a FAQ, I fully agree. I was approached at one point to include a FAQ in the xcmds.hlp but was never given any questions that CService deemed to be 'frequently asked.' Consequently, there is still no FAQ in the help file... Most of their questions could be answered if they wo...

Finally...
After nearly a year of doing a total re-write, and real life getting in the way on many occasions, the new version of the X Commands files is nearing completion, hopefully within a week or so. I will do my best to make sure a note is posted on the #cs website about it, and we'll probably have it put...

It's only IRC, and it's only a nickname. Even if you were to register it, you still don't "own" it. Undernet's policy is one of freedom of choice. Anyone is free to use any available nickname. We get to know each other by user addresses, not by nickname. I normally go by Talyn, but sometimes I'm jus...
