since the server admins have such freedom to not implement the new mode the undernet commite has approved, they should inform about it. i agree that the webmaster got better things to do than check the version of every server. but if the server admins had handed him the info it would't take him long...

That's why i wan't to have a more detailed list on the server list site. what modes they support and what version of ircu they are using. i'm not looking for ways to check if a server supports +D mode on irc. i'm looking for a list so you don't have to join every undernet server to check if they do ...

i see #usernames as a channel i have to go to when i got a problem #CService can't fix. like suspended username forgotten password and secret answear where you need an admin to get you to send a mail so he can "verify" that your the real owner even doh your still logged in to the suspende...

that manangers sharing usernames.. that one channel got 2 "owners" or one user got "2 channels" who cares about that? look at #skype as an example.. i've heard about cservice admins who got 500 on more than one channel.. and even more than 2.. and so on... i do know about the old...

Quakenet got maxlogins 2, no problem there.. they are actually much better than undernet to keep away "abusive things".
Other networks as well got ghost kill and such things.. can't see why we should spare the maxlogins.. i belive it will decrease the amount of mulitple usernames to...
