I don't know if that was meant as hyperbole or not, but it stopped me from reading back through the previous posts to get the gist of the thread.

This often happens because someone connected before you with the same IP you have now and they were infected. Unless you can change your IP you'll just have to wait until the "ban" expires I believe.
