I know this has probably been suggested and thought before, but is it possible to make X invites override X bans? With the increase of botnet attacks we sometimes feel the need to but a wider ban, but that also covers some ops. Either we fill the banlist with more narrow bans from the same region and leave our op happy -or- we put the wider ban and get an upset @.
Would that be possible? Maybe the access counts, maybe it doesnt..
Thanks.

The best way to handle this is to set the wider ban directly in the channel and not through X.

Nice that you bring up this solution. Unfortunately, when X takes the banlist to 45 bans and over, this is unapplicable.
