ROFL, so users cannot even install that Klient ? Do not talk about using it.
Quote: Klient has trouble installing onto XP SP2 because of the DEP.
And half of the world is using that not needed SP2
lemuel, irssi can be installed on Mac OS X, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Slackware, Mandrake, CRUX, RedHat, Debian, Gentoo and even Windows (if you have cygwin installed).
irssi is for advanced users, it's not clicking based irc client, you do everything via /commands.
About mIRC, it is the most famous and most used client because almost everyone starts with mIRC.
xChat is good for new Linux users.

ok thanks Mitko for the info.. hehehe I agree Klient were having some errors installing in Windows XP SP 2 that's what I've encounter last time I tried to install that software.
Anyways I'm using X-CHAT version for Windows users, it's kewl anyways.

And exclude the Mac OS ? I think not :P
There is snak, ircle, and a few more that i can't remember offhand (including irissi), however I use ircle which still does versions for Mac OS 9 back as far as Mac OS 7.

mIRC for windows, X-Chat for linux, but if it's just a short visit on irc with a linux distro, i prefer BitchX.

People:
Please do not post screenshots of your clients in your messages! I just deleted 3 posts which included huge screenshots.
There is no option in profile to disable images, readers should not be forced to load and watch them while reading the forum.
Images screw up browser width and make the forum unreadable AND the page is huge to load for non-broadband users.
If you have an image you want others to see, please post a link where those interested may go look at it.

pnp (Peace & Protection) is an addon for mIRC, thus not a client itself
