Just a small one.. I'd like to be able to send vnotices (NOTICE +#channel :<message>) like we can send onotices (NOTICE @#channel :<message>).

Same for msg/privmsgs as well.

It is a easy command , it is /ovnotice #channel-name message_goes_here (and you are able to to send notices to voiced people from here and aswell to oped people)

Regards,
Spidel

OVNOTICE Unknown command.

however there is the /WALLVOICES <#channel> <message> which does send notices to all the voicers in channel and does not require any channel status.

Hi,

I have no idea why you suggest scripts, tell commands for specific IRC clients, and so on.

The correct synyax to send a notice to all voiced clients on a #channel is:
/quote wallvoices <#channel> :<message>

Note that the channel ops will see the notice too. This is an IRCu function and it doesn't matter what client you use.

Best Regards,
Mit.

My suggestion still stands. /notice +#channel <message> is a more uniform way of doing the same thing and besides, it makes more sense since /notice @#channel <message> is already supported.

It would be annoying to have to check if the network is Undernet and use a special command if it is, but the more common /notice +#channel for everything else.

Since Undernet already has /wallvoices, think of this as a consistency feature request.

I see your point since undernet also supports /quote notice @#channel :message and /quote wallchops #channel :message

Why not for consistancy support the same for wallvoices

Some places also support multiple targets (NOTICE @+#channel :text), I wouldn't mind seeing that too.
