Generals wrote: Hi . You can use the next X command ex: /.msg x set #channel noadduser on/off . If that command is set ON , *only* channel manager can add new users to X [1-499]. That way the channel TAKEOVER [*!*@*] will not be a problem, because you give access to the people you trust 400+ end they can`t add new users to X. what do you think ,its a good solution What is the purpose of having a command that only channel managers can use, if when you add your "trusted" friends to X, they can add who ever they want to X.. In my oppinion thats just silly, because you don't add people to your channel if you don't trust them, and second of all most channel takeovers happend because the usernames were stolen..

Generals, as slang states, if you don't want someone to have the ability to add users, do not give them 400+ access. There is no point to adding a setting like this. Please also note, and this goes for anyone else adding to this topic/thread, suggesting a command that wasn't in the first post in this topic/thread is technically a new topic/thread, therefore should not be posted in this topic/thread. Please create a new topic/thread if you wish to discuss other command ideas, instead of going off-topic in this topic/thread. Please also use the search command to make sure there isn't another topic/thread that already covers your suggestion.
