Let us not get carried away by the wave...35%, 50%, does it really matter? If coders and Cservice agree to the request of having the official page in Romanian, this would give room to other requests that imply allotting supplementary resources that simply do not exist at the moment(a sort of precedent as they call it in juridical terms). Plus, besides some photos of ircops and admins, I dont find anything that difficult to understand on Cservice site. We may represent 50% of Undernet's population(which I doubt, leaving aside drones, clones and bouncers) but let us keep things simple.

PS: Regarding the number of Romanian users, probably Cservice might try do some statistics, based on username semantics (only Romanian admins might find that out but it would take too much and I dont believe is necessary)

Cservice mainsite should just stay in english, it's not only romanians who signup there, there are also dutchies, germans, finnish, swedish, norwegian, belgian, russian, latvia, greek, etc.etc.etc. ppl, u can't just choose the romanian language juuuust because someone says 50% are romanians...

I belive the posts were regarding the addition of a romanian "CService Website" and not a replacement of the current one...sure with the time more languages should be added and so on but the point everybody is missing here is that in order to have more pages in more languages somebody has to do it right ? it's not done by it's self and as many of you can see the cservice english site is old, ugly and very much out of date ! So how can you expect it in different languages ? when it's not even kept properly in english ?

Regards,

Well first of all i think Cservice should use their resources to make the web run better, there are times when there is too much traffic on the web and you can`t use it.....

I think that is a concern more important than the language, Cservice has been running for 10 years fine in english.....

* Wolfyx wonders what`s so hard in learning english
It`s the most spoken language on the earth for cryin` out loud..These days, every school has as a primary language (besides the native language) class wich studies english..If you don`t know it, then you didn`t pass through school :P

Good point Wolfyx..and there`s not much to not understand on the cs website..most terms are commun in other languages, and if you IRC, you surely know those terms..and besides, X has a lot of languages you could pick from, and can provide about 50% of the info you can see at the site

Stop bitching folks and start translating.
If you want the interface or the site in another language then start working.
Sources of the interface are available on sourceforge in the gnuworld project, start to find a way to make it multilingual, prefferable supporting HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE etc.

When done, post it as a patch.
