./configure --with-CXX --enable-multibyte --with-tcl --without-tk
--with-tclconfig=/usr/local/lib/tcl8.x
--with-includes=/usr/local/include/tcl8.x
--with-libraries=/usr/local/lib/tcl8.x

The install guide had \`s in the command line which Freebsd 7.2 did not seem to like

Depsite the build finishing without any errors, /usr/local/pgsql/bin/pgtclsh was not installed, this can be fixed by installing databases/postgresql-tcltk from the ports collection

freebsd:/home/gnuworld/gnuworld$ ./configure --enable-modules=cservice,ccontrol results in a lot of errors, as noted in a previous post on this board
./configure --enable-modules=cservice,ccontrol --with-pgsql-home=/usr/local/pgsql works correctly

The installation of the PL language the command syntax has changed to the following

/usr/local/pgsql/bin/createlang plpgsql cservice

Regards
