I`d like to ask you guys what do you think about Klient, it`s an IRC client same as mIRC but with a lot more features. They are going to release a new version soon. Anyway the current version rocks, Klient is better than any other IRC client in my opinion, What do you think ?

I'll give it a try coz I have X-CHAT for windows here and plain mIRC as my IRC client...

There are many irc clients nowadays, if we open topic for everyone we will get nowhere

Yep Klient is Shareware, anyway you may buy it, in my opinion it's better to but Klient than mIRC, if mIRC si the most popular, that doesn't mean that it's the best

yeap BUT lots of users were getting used of the basic mIRC as an IRC client.. nice try though.

and most ppl download complete mirc-scripts with the funny stuff in it (ascii/colours/simple kick/ban features). so in a way mIRC is the most used anyhow.

mIRC is one of the oldest IRC clients and a lot of other clients shock with their look so close to mIRC - this is another reason for mIRC being one of the best IRC clients (for me it's the best)

I don't agree that mIRC is one of the oldest clients. mIRC is existing since 1995 and the first IRC client is created in 1988. I can feel free to say that one of the oldest irc clients is ircII created in 1988 and released in 1989. So, mIRC is created after 6 or 7 years of IRC's existing. I wouldn't say that it's one of the oldest irc clients.

I downloaded the irc client from that link zeee, and after installing it, it won`t open..gives me some error..downloaded it again, i made sure it was downloaded completely, but same thing..

Same thing here Wolfyx says something like this ( Klient trial version is not properly installed please download the client again blah blah blah )
So maybe more fixes will be done soon for that IRC client.
