In my 11+years on Undernet, I have never seen such a thing. If I had not experienced it, I'd have never believed it. Seems at least 6 people I know had the same thing happen to them at the same time.

Anyone know what in the world happened??

Thanks, magic.

(Usually when a server delinks, you just cannot connect to it, though. You are not sent to another network!) LOL

usually the delinked admin do not use the same ip right after a delink.

Sometimes we are a bit slow to remove dns from delinked servers, the admin has in this case announced the delink many weeks in advance, i guess undernet was a bit slow removing the dns this time.

Thanks for the explanation, magic. Perhaps it is time for Undernet to also take the los angeles servers off their servers list as well? ;-)
