To help with this, we'd need to know what client you use on IRC. Also, this is the wrong section for this question. Could a Mod move this to General/IRC Help? (Eenie is still having massive problems getting the site to load.) Dude, you can look there soon for a solution once you tell us which client you use.

In that case, here's a remote you can use (you need to have the sound file in your mIRC Sounds folder.) In mIRC, press 'Alt' along with 'r' and this will bring up the remote script editor, then add these two lines there:

on 1:join:#:splay filename.ext
on 1:part:#:splay filename.ext

Replace filename.ext with the actual file (like shotgun.wav or whatever.) If you don't have any sounds, you can use "beep" in place of "splay filename.ext"

You can make these work in just a specific channel by changing # to #whatevermychannelis (use the real channel name there.)

Hope that helps.
