Hi all. I just downloaded the new mirc version which was released yesterday, 17 february. You can get it from http://www.mirc.com . New changes are displayed in this file: http://www.mirc.co.uk/whatsnew.txt . What do you think? Is it much greater than the previous edition? :)

- Edited. sry :)

It's not a new IRC client, just a new version of mIRC. And.. yesterday (GMT) was the 17th of February, far away from December.

Finally, a mIRC version includes an useful thing: option to enable/disable $decode/$com/$dll and /run commands. Having these disabled by default, some infections with mIRC viruses are avoided. :D

P.S. Peace and Protection (and some other scripts) don't work good enough with this new release. :(

Regards,
Crosswing

Tools > Options > Connect > Local Info, uncheck "On connect, always get: Local Host" and leave only "IP Address" checked.

I hate to say it, but this question is really better asked of http://www.mirc.com or http://www.mirc.co.uk

Asking the creators and their support system is bound to get better answers. :/

xplora is right, we should discuss mIRC-related issues here:
